Ok all you drinkers out there sit back down it’s not what you think. This is a taco challenge. Although if you complete it 3 times, once at each of their locations, thus completing the “Triple Crown” you drink free for one year. On second thought you drinkers get on your feet. Drinking free for a year? I bet neither Yastrzemski nor Affirmed got that.

Hwy 55 (aka Andy’s Burgers) – Big A Challenge

A funny thing happened on the way to writing this article. It seems that in the middle of the writing the name is being changed. The website and all of its pages, and the Facebook page all show it as Andy’s, but on the main page a pop up windows announces it is changing its name to Hwy 55. Well no matter what the name it is still an impressive challenge and with over 100 locations in North Carolina it seems like if you are there you will have one nearby. So for now

CHALLENGE:
Eat almost 50 oz. of meat on a burger bun, with at least four toppings, a side of fries and a 24 oz. soft drink in 30 Minutes.

Wine Country Casino Restaurant – The Ultamite Food Challenge

Before the spelling police get to me, I do know how to spell ultimate, but this is how they have the challenge on their website. I am not sure if it is from enjoying too much of the wine countries wine or if they are just being unique, but thought I would report it as they had it.

CHALLENGE:
Eat a 32 ounce chicken fried steak covered with 24 ounces of country gravy served with 1.5 pounds of garlic mashed potatoes and six pieces of cheesy garlic bread. You have one hour to eat it all.

Minsky’s Pizza Il Gigantor Challenge

Normally we don’t post a food challenge if it isn’t listed on the restaurant’s site. First of all we like a certain sense from the restaurant that they want the challenge and embrace the fun of them. Second of all we like to have documentation. Well despite no mention of the challenge on their site there certainly is good documentation for this one. First of all there is a new video from Randy Santel showing his conquest of this challenge. Long time readers of this blog might remember Randy as we did a feature on his Atlas and Zeus Promotions about a year ago. Secondly there is a very entertaining piece from Ben Frederickson of the Columbia Missourian describing his partnering up with Randy for that pizza challenge

Trimbo’s Jumboli Challenge
